That reason for the seasons 🍁

And why in the British summertime it shouldn’t ever snow

Yet that surge of our springtime blossoms buds that glow

Yon four cycles of the seasons are Mother natures bestow

So from December until February, this is our winter break

This is when that Autumn air will cool down, there could be snowfalls in its wake

February is the month for lovers with that day of valentine

Soon little lambs will leap about in that warm sunshine

Then as the winter mellows and the month of March arrives

Birds nests bulge with little beaks and brand new birth thrives

Coz now the sun has got its hat on, from the spring right thru the summer

And those sheep and cattle in the meadows, welcome each and every newcomer

Then April showers drip drop, flourishing all the fragrant flowers

Mother earth is at it once again with her potent powers
 
It is now the fifth month of the year, May blossom is blooming everywhere

June, July and August is our sensational summertime, happiness is in the air

Soon all the leaves are changing from green to golden brown

September, October and November wears an orange Autumnal gown

December thru to February, winter has spiralled once more
