That teasing tomboy

But nowadays when those same boys see her walking down the street, they look at her and drool

Oh my goodness me. she is so beautiful, and she dresses pretty cool

Wasn’t every lad that ignored her in the class at school, such a fool?

Yet looking back, there was a boy who used to pickup her pen

Every time she dropped it on the classroom floor, just for a laugh, now and again

And he didn’t care when the other lads teased him, coz he loved her back then

He could see what they couldn’t see in her, even though she was only ten

Though little lanky Lucy, used to tease and mock this lonely lad

She would drop her pencil on the ground, then laugh at him like mad

But just like the other boys she was a fool, coz that lonely lad, would have been the best friend, that she had ever had
