That was a lie

Young Brothers today I speak to you to let you know that was a lie when they told you your life expectancy was 21 and that your favorite place to dwell was the corner store or the rotten jail cells that reap of  black men skin throughout American cities.

That was a lie when they told you privilege was given to all when we knew all along it's only earn through those who have the most wealth, that's why some of us said we're not going to destroy ourselves, instead we find monuments that will lead to something that can fulfill a fruitful life.

That was a lie when they told you that your country would never witness a black man as president of the United States of America.

That was a lie when they told you that having no father around means your life would be a failure because you lack the proper guidance on how to become a man.

But out of all the lies the biggest one was telling you that you don't matter and that you don't have no voice in your community and that you don't give a damn about unity and that all you really want is Immunity from a unjust systems.
