Sooner than I had hoped

Timelines being so fickle

Are they not?

I hope you remember me

Maybe fondly

Maybe not

I used to think that mattered

The fallacy of legacy

Just pissing into a hurricane

A harmless self delusion

Is it not?

Life is not fair

Death too

Neither was ever meant to be

Neither were we
