The Apocalypse

World in chaos

The Apocalypse

People say one day he would call
My battle rock within the secure wall.
Clandestine hope or anonymous?
Galvanized angels or muster the pious
His voice we also have a desire to hear
The herald preached to the atmosphere
With strange answers to some prayers
How long are we to exist floating on air
Drowning our sorrows in more tears
with the ache where paradise disappears
Such a promise was at the beginning.
But time has invited apocalypse to join in
With labyrinth increasing levels of evil
Ushering in a dreaded reign of the devil
No games for fooling around in the playground,
but the world in pain is a fragile battleground.
Self -proclaimed illusion for grandeur and fame
tip toing between the reckless and the insane
We hide our faces behind the smoke screens.
Selfie fantasy reality has taken over our dreams.
We protest and try to hold unto some dignity.
But ethics and essence has gone with morality

Principles boils down to divide the esteem.
The value of minutes is losing their serene
Rest in peace, but what awaits the requiem?
Will eternal rest be granted to them?
While those blessed have already gone
Happier leaving us with chaos to Abaddon
Battling forces of hostile and wicked intent
Do we know where our friends went?
On the Altar asking for the Saviour
To save the world from the dark destroyer
The apocalypse draws a deeper breath
In conquest, war, famine, and death
A monstrous beast let lose in the inferno.
Wears a cruel crown and a false halo
Upon the orchards of peace we stumble
Nature dictates the state of the jungle
Finding safety has long since faded away
Solace of normality was the desire of yesterday
Weird masquerades besiege change attitudes
Virus and plagues ascend to higher altitudes.
Darkness overshadows the faded white sky
Soon the cloud in which I live will let me die
When all the realms lay silent and still
Let this burnout world be done with my will
