THE APPLE TREE

THE APPLE TREE

In a quiet spot under the apple tree
That's the place where I want to be
Away from this busy and dirty old town
It makes me feel depressed and gets me down

That apple tree stands tall is always there for me
Situated in a field overlooking the sea
The rings on its trunk indicate it's very old
If only it could talk so many stories would be told

Autumn time for the apple tree is best of all
That's when the apples start to fall
Leaves on this tree change throughout the seasons
I love this apple tree for so many reasons
