THE ARGUMENT

Say what you want I've heard it all before 
Be careful of the hinges when you slam the door 
I know you're upset but then so am I
It's not my fault in making you cry  

Why do we argue and why do we row ? 
Can't we just sort out this problem right now 
If you stop and listen to me I will listen to you  
For a disagreement like ours it always takes two 

So let's be adults and sort this matter out 
For the sake of the child let's not fight and shout
Regardless of fault and regardless of blame  
Let's put an end now to this arguing game
