Poem -

The arms of a scarecrow.

The arms of a scarecrow seem still.  They are circled by
stalks of corn fields in the open fields.
But are they?
Do they by their will wave their hands to scare the crows
away?
And do they also form a protective hug over all the crops
in their vicinity?
Looking intently into the eyes of a scarecrow you wonder,
is it alive or is it dead?
