The Attorney's Horrible Journey

The Attorney's Horrible Journey

When I died last year, I took an unfortunate journey.
I'm in Hell because I was an unscrupulous attorney.
Even though I knew my clients were guilty, I convinced juries to find them innocent.
I represented rapists, arsonists and murderers and as I burn in Hell, I'm in torment.
A man raped seven women and I helped him to get off scot-free.
This scorching fire is burning my skin and I'll be in Hell for eternity.
I did underhanded things to make certain that I would not lose.
Believe me when I tell you that you're lucky not to be in my shoes.
This pain is unbearable, I scream continuously and I beg for mercy.
The Lord wasn't merciful and he had every right to condemn me.
I convinced a jury to free a child molester and I knew but didn't care that he's a perv.
As I'm rotting in Hell, I know that I've received exactly what I deserve.

Amen RANDY!!....you definitely were able to capture the essence of what it means to be a good Defense Lawyer......so many of them go in thinking that they will be the exception to the rule but when finding themselves on the firing line they have no choice but to become unscrupulous....It is an extremely difficult way to make a living....but, on the other hand, it is one the highest paying jobs in America if you are REALLY good at it!!......I like the way you burned the effigy dear poet brother......ALL STARS!!...well penned RANDY!!.....LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xo  :  )
