The Beast Within

My heart cries
Demons have no sympathy
Clawing and Devouring
Blood pours like rain
Red paints the walls of my house that no one shall ever enter
If it is destroyed no one will miss it but me
If it is to be saved it must be me
Screams break the peaceful air
Flee the demons save yourself
Who shall fight the demons?
Where is Beowulf now?
Michael lend me your sword!
No hero for me
No one can enter the red, crumbling cave
Only I may enter
Only I am strong enough to kill the beast
The beast will kill me first
I must be stronger as to not die
I am too young to die
