Midnight charade squeezed my heart 

Intoxicated by perfumed kisses 

My soul was lost by reason of insanity 

Some saw her as the deserts thirst  

Others, as an imposter of life

But my eyes followed the way of my heart 

Deception I embraced, I was beguiled 

I surrendered my will

I relinquished all reasoning 

Her beauty compelled me to obey 

The consequences were severe

I gambled with love and lost

I flirted with death 

Disgusted as the tree of life 

I took of its fruit and had my fill

My soul was repossessed 

I became one with my hearts desire 

I became one with death.
