I could have sent you a card that said I'm thinking of you...
I could have wrote a note but, I didn't know where to put it...
There's so many ways I could have reached out to you, but I wrote this poem instead...
You are my sunshine in the storm...
My cool in the summer heat...
Thoughts of you warm me when the nights get cold...
My friend if I begin to feel lonely, on purpose...
You always come to me with kindness...
You never push me away...
You make me feel as if I'm your light in the dark...
I'm your cookie and you're the milk...
The one who makes you smile out of the blue..
My best friend and more than that...
You're the best man and I just wanted to tell you that...
