The big round moon

The big round moon

The big round moon
Looked over me
Laughing at my
insignificance
and painted the sky
with the greatest light
in which to live
and die

The big round moon
so round from my eye
that I can see craters
and critters
and crazy,
 crashes and conflicts,
times' circuses
?
The big round moon
Looked over me
Laughing at my
insignificance

There are few things in nature besides the vastness of the oceans, a sky filled with billions of twinkling stars or a celestial body such as the moon beaming brightly in the night, that make us and our problems seem so insignificant in the grand scheme of things, Jai.
The sheer awe really puts us in our place.
Well penned, my friend.
