The boxer

Standing toe to toeÂ
Chest to chestÂ
Body all sweatyÂ
Eyes fixed in a tranceÂ
Gloves to touch,
Now let’s danceÂ
Dancing round the ringÂ
Fancy foot work at its bestÂ
Now time to see who's the bestÂ
Muscles tighten as punches’ are thrownÂ
One to the stomach
One to the jawÂ
Think this guys using south pawÂ
Head in a flurry as punches daze in a hazeÂ
Left, right, left uppercut, jabÂ
Move to the right counter with a jabÂ
A head butt follows, surely that's a fowlÂ
As the crowd sneer and scowlÂ
Lost in a daze as eyes try to focusÂ
Time to bring the magicÂ
Here's my hocus pocusÂ
Dancing side to sideÂ
Dodging flurries of punches Â
Pinned to  the ropesÂ
Think its time for a rope a dopeÂ
Watch my left as I tease with my rightÂ
One to the head followed by a rightÂ
Uppercut baby now it’s goodnightÂ
Lifts him high, clean of his feetÂ
If he gets back up i will have to repeatÂ
He's down on the groundÂ
doesn’t make a soundÂ
As the ref counts to tenÂ
He tries to stand without successionÂ
Think this guy has learnt his lessonÂ
In my mind I’m saying stay downÂ
As he lies their on the groundÂ
Referee has got to ten Â
The fight is over, the winner announcedÂ
People rush to congratulateÂ
But I know my victory won't last foreverÂ
Because there's always someone bigger and better
