The boy was told to pick a side

As I look to the left I see a man yelling 
Looking to the right I see a woman’s head shaking,
People who fight for a certain side need to take a step back,
Instead of collaboration we all divide 
Hurry up kids and pick a side 
So you know what friends to make 
What’s classes to take 
It’s so sad I see so much hate so much fake,
Everyone is fake for the facts they claim 
We all point fingers and blame 
For writing this poem I’m doing the same 
We are ranked so low in education 
Stop fighting with people and work on collaboration, 
The highest ranking we have is suicide 
Maybe if we didn’t divide 
We could save a life
