The Boycott

It has been 
a long tradition 
in this writer's house
for the writer and
his sons to plan and execute
the annual Super Bowl party

Today
there is no party
food, drinks
nor comradery
at the Tucker's house
as we have chosen 
to Boycott the Super Bowl

Instead 
we have elected
to watch
movies
such as 
the "American Sniper"
to remind us
of the sacerfice
that our women and men
in service
have given
so that NFL Players
could kneel and 
ignorant teachers
could use their
positions to 
corrupt the
minds of our
youth....

Patriotism 
is not
a disease
or an old fashion
tradition
It is a symbol
of unification
to a diverse
nation
that binds
us to one
simple
truth
