The Briny Deep
Trawling flounder in briny breadth,
Piscator rocked in murky squall,
Saturated, spume, short of breath,
Cast about sporadic and sprawl.
Darkness looms beneath the waves,
Battered hull unnerves the men,
Cowering midst splintered mast and lave,
Rapacious scourge strikes again.
Tumult cries midst tempest black,
ββββββJagged teeth sink into the hull,
collasal shark looking for a tasty snack,
Cruor efferevess betwixt the cull.
Damning sight of cadaver adrift,
Foundering vessel in quick demise,
Lonely trawler tragically blitzed,
Watery graves with no "here lies".....
