Poem -

THE BUS SHELTER

Whatever happened to that bus shelter from years gone by
Holds so many memories for me I'm not going to lie
All the stories it could tell under that roof
I look back on it fondly it was part of my youth

Graffiti was written on the bus shelter's seat
Gaz woz ere was written so neat
It was at the bus shelter I grabbed my first kiss
An opportunity I seized it was too good to miss

I was so upset when the bus shelter came down
Another route would be needed to get into town
Don't get attached to something as it quickly goes
Gone forever as this poem clearly shows
