The Busker

The Busker

He was standin' on a corner
When I heard his plaintiff cry,
Guitar in hand, blue eyes
Dog layin' down near bye.
He was wailin' out a song,
The theme left me feelin' blue
If he was here right now,
He'd sing this song to you.

We"re just sittin' on a rock ( he sang )
Hurtling round the sun,
Fragile to climate changes ( guitar twang )
We should be havin fun.

'chorus'
Don't have any need for uranium
Don't need to use pesticide,
Who wants weapons of mass destruction
That's what causes genocide.

Well he didn't want no money
He had no upturned hat,
Only wanted passers bye
To listen to his chat.

'chorus'
