The Call of the Void

The Call of the Void

The dark side is constantly calling,
even if all things thrive in the light,
darkness comes as anguished echoes
in a traceless, faceless night.
It is chained to dreams that truly frighten,
shows itself in a bout of misfortune,
or by natureā€™s unforgiven strike.
If no one stares into the abyss
nor answer to the call of the void,
the waves will take us to the shore,
as we know
there is light above the blue.
