The Circle Of Our Life

The day we met, I knew right then, that you were the “Circle of My Life”;

I felt such “total love’s first sight”, and wanted you to be my wife!

We danced a bit and talked a lot, those first hours, together did we spend;

Then at two a.m. we kissed goodnight, with a date the next night that would pend! 

 
I called you up at ten a.m., at the place of your employ;

We made a date at seven p.m., for each others’ company we so enjoyed!

We dined and talked and kissed a bit, then returned to your carriage house;

We played soft music and held real close, our feelings we each espoused! 

 
The next day fell on Halloween, you had to work till ten;

Then you met me at a singles dance, till four a.m. together did we spend!

Seven hours later at eleven a.m., we had a rendezvous;

You parked your car and got in mine, to spend the day with just us two! 

 
To Rockport, Mass, we drove that day, we kissed and ate lobster bisque;

Then we drove a while to Benihanas, for sake, food and lots more kiss!

Then I drove you back to get your car, we held, then said goodnight;

We made plans for me to bring in dinner, that sacred Monday night! 

 
You pulled up and I ran to you, we kissed with passions purest pledge;

For we knew we’d found our dear soulmates, no need for us to hedge!

We drank champagne when our lips weren’t locked, we hardly ate at all;

We pledged our love forever then, for we knew it would never fall!
