THE COCKY JOCKEY

THE COCKY JOCKEY

The cocky jockey was ready to start the race
An odds on favourite to finish in first place
As the cocky jockey mounted his horse
He knew he was unbeatable in this half mile course

The pundits called the ground soft to good
Disaster happened for the cocky jockey his horse stuck in the mud
The cocky jockey swore and started to curse
This only made things ten times worse

The race for the other jockeys was complete and done
For the cocky jockey the race hadn't begun
No win for the favourite today it was plain to see
A disgusted cocky jockey went home for his tea
