What doesn't break you.....

Bravery is unseen and unremembered…
It’s not just running into a burning building,
It’s quiet acceptance of a situation that hurts
yet defines you more than life itself.
Bravery make men of boys and women strong,
but no one knows who the brave will be….
The child bullied daily and  holding in tears but
goes back next day to face the onslaught….
The lover who hides bruises and never makes eye contact,
yet in trepidation continues the lie for love of the kids.
The worker pressured to give more and more with
no thanks, or promise of reward, but takes it on because of  duty.
The lonely, who  live lives of solitude and emptiness,
but never complaining for fear they would be thought whiners.
Bravery has many faces, some we see, others we miss
 but never believe it’s not there… ‘cause you know
there is bravery out there..but no medals to show……
