The curiosity of a child 💕

A  youthful eye of curiosity and such sheer vitality?

Perhaps belonging to an innocent child, only a little boy

He has cut out this tiny hole in a green leaf and has he dropped his favourite toy?

Or maybe he is a she, an adventurous young girl

Dancing thru her daydreams with her mind in a twirl

But do they not say that ‘Every picture tells of a story”

Then could it be at all possible that this hole tells tall tales of yon Jackanory?

Well whatever the real romantics of this little child with eyes of bright blue

Peering through this leafy gap playing at peek-a-boo

Alas, one will never, ever discover what lies beyond this mystery
