THE DANCER

THE DANCER

She was a dancer of seventeenΒ
The like of which I had never seen
She was graceful and very pretty
Came from America -Boston city

Dancing was her life it gave her joy
Nothing compared to dancing with a boy
But in one moment it was all gone
Courtesy of a Boston bomb

The dancers legs were torn and shattered
She was alive is all that mattered
Because the dancer is strong she will recover
She has the love of her father and mother

Dance dance and dance some more
Dance to the rich and dance to the poor
Lady dancer of seventeen
The like of which I had never seen
