The day will come...

The fear of losing you haunts me each day
I love you no matter,
Come what may
You brought me into this world the both of you.
I watched and copied and learnt the way you do.
What Happens when you leave this world and we're all alone?
My two brothers and me who will we turn to for a moan?
The day will come and I don't know when, Russian roulette, 5 years? 10?
I have dads hands, my brothers your smile, what I wouldn't give to keep you, walk a thousand miles.
It will come, the end will near, I hope to God you do not fear.
I remember the feelings of being so safe, so sound. So love we all felt you can't buy that for any pound.
I see the grey hair grow and the wrinkles Deepen, it will come to us all one day, we will all be brittle and weaken.
This poem isn't supposed to depress or be sad, just prepare all of us for the day that we know will be had.
So lucky are we, my siblings and me. To have come home to a warm bed and a hearty home made tea.
Years have passed and many more will too, one day your son or daughter will feel the same about you.
