Poem -

The dead of night.

Chase the star's I'm always told, they're made of glitter and of gold

They keep the dreams
That leave the earth
And glorify heaven
Enriched with worth

But what star would he have chose, the brightest blue, or red like rose

A little spark would light the way, if I could hear
The words you say

But angels whisper in their light, and wait till dark, the dead of night.
