The deepest darkest well ❤️

I dropped my silver sixpence down the deepest darkest well

And as I listened very carefully I may have heard a clinking bell

I think it landed upon a mossy ledge, although I could not really tell

But where on earth could this bottomless pit go to..could it lead to hell?

Of course as soon as my sixpence left my hand..I made a little wish

As I tossed the coin it spun around in a swirling swish

It was a special sixpence that I had saved from my childood..shining like a silverfish

When  immediately I was suddenly stricken with “Have I been foolish?”

Ahh well it was too late now..

And if my little wish ever came true..”Woohoo..Holy Cow!!”

Oooh I remember a rush of excitement..mopping up my brow

Just imagine if this crazy Covid-19 suddenly disappeared..well I would certainly know how…
