The Deer and the Wolf

The Deer and the Wolf

Down by the ivory oak trees
Where the wild roses lay on waters edge
Indigo sun hue
A harvest of honeydew
Deer lingers by the lush of berry vines
Alaskian summer shimmers divine
Butterflies jete in jubilee
Whistle of the wind willows smoothly
Howling hush hovers a silver haze
Wolf wanders in a gallant gaze
By the green grass moss stage
Ordained beyond sanctuary
Owl hoos by dusty leaves
Unlikely friends, until dawn ends
The Deer and the wolf
