THE DENTIST

THE DENTIST

I’ve got a bad tooth
and it hurts like hell,
I want it took out
but dare not ring the dentist’s bell,

I creep up to his surgery door,
And when it opens
i creep some more,

I get to the step and start to freeze
I see people begging on their knees,
Please take away this nagging pain,
It’s driving me mad
I am going insane.

The dentist comes to the open door,
Don’t stand there please
your blocking the floor,

So with my heart in my hands,
I  Look at the dentist who`s giving me commands.
I am now in the chair that moves up and down
Hot lights beam from above
as the dentist stares into my mouth,
He taps at my teeth with a prod and a dig
If he carries on he will be eating my fist

He mumbles something
I nod to be polite
He takes out a needle
what a horrible sight
The needle goes in
the pain it subsides
The tools that he uses could cause quiet a fright
He grabs my tooth then with a push and a shove
Out it pops all covered in blood
The dentist knows
he`s done  a good job

Broken

Lost
Fearful, afraid
Trees sway, brace,
catching the breeze, owls
toot and hoot...
