THE DISAPPEARING PANDA

The worried look on the zookeeper's face
Something was definitely out of place
Usually in a cage munching on lovely bamboo
A disappearing panda oh what should he do

The panda should be really easy to find and spot
Not likely to be on a busy street or on a yacht
Poor zookeeper searched all through the night
Hoping to find the panda with black and white

At four o'clock in the morning the very next day
The panda was spotted I'm really happy to say
Not found on a porch but actually a veranda
So ending this tale of the disappearing panda

This reads like a lovely children's story, reminded me of the book Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell. My son use to love this book. That is the kind of cosy feel I got when reading this delightful piece
