Poem -

The divorce

The divorce

With deep love

In this veil

Be you wed

Before God

This day

Until death

For better or for

Worse

Upon this altar

Pray

That this marriage

Shall work

Pray

That this commitment

Shall last

Pray

That this trust

Will be honoured

Pray

For the sanctity

Pray for the holy

Pray for the love

With deep love

In this veil

Be you wed

Before God

The divorce

A very talented write - Appreciate your take on marriage/divorce

Hey Jai - I will be happily single soon (I hope) after almost 3 years of unnecessary pain - This is a small section of a poem I wrote over a year ago; - called "Now Apart" - seems to be fitting

Never Love or adore.

As my heart remains in pain.

We forever be in shame.

God Loves us no matter what,

however we exclaim.

As from the start

I forgive you all the same

and in my heart will always remain.

Forever my family,

Till death do us part.

God put us together not apart.

Have a great day - keep them coming!

Post your divorce poem!!

Thank you Mark;

your fairness comes through in your

poem; as you say unnecessary pain.

Best wishes for a better future, Jai :)

Jai, very good work, very sombre and serious topic, I admire your candour, friend Jai, I could never be that open about anything personal; okay, I'll share one thing, but promise not to tell anyone (promise) when I was a kid, I threw a stone at a pigeon, as a prank, ended up killing the poor creature, by accident, and my aunt cleaned the bird, fried it up with onions and green tomatoes, and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten; to this day....I feel so guilty, just saying that....anyway, pal Jai, this work is amazing, well thought out, and super hard formatting, I like it....and I think you should run for the presidency of your country, as well...have great day or night, much love
