The Dragon and the Angel...... pt1

The Dragon and the Angel went flying one night

A breeze blew gently, the moon shone bright

"Look down below! What a beautiful sight!"

Said the Angel, eyes smiling and light.

"Humanity getting along? Must be a trick! I won't bite!"

Snarled the Dragon, without slowing his flight.

"Be nice. Be gentle. Don't pick a fight.

It was bound to happen ONE day.  It happened tonight.

No more violence, starvation, war, nor blight!"

Extolled the Angel spinning in flight.

So hand in hand and into the night

The Dragon and the Angel increased their height

Higher and higher full of delight

They flew away from any mortal sight

The Dragon and the Angel never returned.........

From their moon. Light. Flight. that night.
