I nearly drowned when I was 9 in a public swimming baths that I disobeyed my mum and went on a bus 15 miles away to go swimming when I couldnt swim.. Luckily self preservance kicked in and I heard a voice that stopped me sinking in the deep end.. After thatt I forced myself into water though I hate the dtuff in my mouth . How people do the crawl face dowm I cant do that.. Water and kids.. You have to conquer or avoid... Poor little boy.. A friend in school drownd in a local lake the year we finished school, I walk there with my dog and think of that boy.. Sad syory Greg.. It stays with us..Â

Dear Greg,
Imagine the hurt of this nine year old lad
A nightmare that ever makes him so sad
For his friend who was eight, one day in a pool
Played in a large boat, he thought was so cool
.
No one was there, when over it flipped
And under the water, his dearest friend dipped
They found him that day, lifeless body submerged
A horrible memory, to this day unpurged
Love,
Larry xxx
Thank you Larry
