the drum beat

I love, love, love the way you use the line  "the drumbeat is sounding" because it gives the whole piece here strength and it holds it all together creating such an atmosphere. An atmosphere of boding, of something getting bigger.... And louder. Agitation in the air. Very clever repetitive use of that line. If only we all heard it. Some do, some mistake it for the stuff on their ipod or 'game'. I think, with this virus, or what has struck me with it, is that we are being controlled tightly by governments who clearly don't know what the f*ck they are doing. And what of the virus? I was all believing that it was just a nasty but natural mutation and species hop, but now I don't know what I think. There is an underlying feeling of something nasty lurking in the corner of every room in every building in all the world and it is also clear that there is an elephant there too. 

The virus is a fabulous excuse to allow a lot of laws to be passed that would otherwise not be tolerated.
