When your ready... Keep your eyes closed... Take your index finger or something and place it anywhere on either page... Read a few verses before the point and a few after or until the good message... Some things are scary and gloom and doom even in the Bible... You want to be a Happy Hippo not a Debby Downer... It's a Trial and Tribulation... Those are never fun... I know it's hard...
