The End

The End

I drove up to you on the street and asked if you wanted a ride

you brushed me away with a pleasant sigh

my heart beat with panic when I left you alone

please at least borrow my phone

call who you need to give you safety

as I give you this option your answer is maybe

can I really help you to get where you need to go

or is it my fear to tell you what I already know

if you leave forever how will I say goodbye

The pressure in my mind for amends are futile to try

this walk could be your last and I cannot guide you

your life passes by in the nature of love and virtue

remember the times that gave you the biggest smile

so will I when I still feel like a child

I shall love you forever regardless of the past

my heart holds you dearly like the mountains so vast

Fly like a bird when the end comes to swiftly

I love you dearly and please always miss me

Such an emotional write.

My father passed away with cancer and I relate to your words.

My respect for handling this topic in such a manner !

Wishing you the absolute best.
