Poem -

the end

the end

There on that park bench
The world seemed to
Stop.

Your hands were fidgeting
Like they were on the night
We had our first
And last
kiss

All I could think about was how much I liked you
I liked you a whole damn lot
All you could think about was how you didn’t like me anymore
Maybe you never really had

And in that moment
I finally understood the feeling
Of sitting next to someone and
feeling galaxies away them
