The End of Winters Cold

The End of Winters Cold

Icicles hanging from our shed roof, capturing melted snow
As winter once again, raises its dreary head, reluctant to let go
Snow covering the sadness,of a gardens winter scene
The crispness of the lying snow, looking so fresh and clean
Eventhough the snow we have,is not as bad as they thought
Children wait with anticipation,to play on their sledge that daddy bought
Not too long,us grown ups hope, for the white stuff to go away
To welcome in our summer months,to bring a brighter day
