laughters shadow
In the nervous shake of darkness
far inside the eaten depth
sitting naked cross boned
waiting
listening for those secret steps
chains running stiched to the wall
while wild foaming waves destroy harbours call

where halo's of light
dance in unison
with trembles of fingertip
searching feeling,exploring
desperate to scratch and bleed into soft damp oak
in that nervous shake of dark
herds that glisten in sweating dew
hell sings opera stinging swollen lip
we will write this storm
place its history adrift

look

then look deeper
see that corner hidden
the nervous darkness
dressed for victorian cloak
notice light stops before fingers strike
perhaps i looked too deep
now freed from your disguise
