The Family of Greed

The Family of Greed

Wretched wraps gleaming gold
The coat of arms that agony comes hither
Wrapped around, these versed snakes
Slither on the plate of truth to spill a thousand misfortunes
Under the masking of distinct sweet song
Smiles lash upon the sacks
That hide the tired eyes
Keeping silent the beast that feasts
On the blood of snakes and spiders
Luring those who fall to soft teachings
To a reprimand of violence
Painting over scarred faces
The snakes will cover that too
Here sits the family who lives in hellfire
The family that is greed's descent
