The Field Mice (Love In The Garden)

The Field Mice (Love In The Garden)

"I love you Kate!", said the field mouse at the gate,
and rubbed noses with his newfound mate.
Then off into the night he dreamed they would unite
in this mystical garden's rite
of marriages.
Where love did bloom, for fancy mice bedrooms
were made, of dreams, come true.
The path of pumpkin seeds led through the garden's reeds
and its grassy simplicity.
---------------------------------------------------
"I love you Kate!", said the field mouse at the gate,
and recalled their very first date.
Where they gave human presents, to the oldest descendants
to show loving sentiment
to all that could see, that the intent was in living free
here, in this garden of rarity.
For it was here that life was magical, and food so plentiful
that love was beautifully bountiful.
And so,
skipping freely, through flowers, with Mr. McNeely
Kate did submit to 'touchy feely'
And to a life through the gate, where life did equate
to a love filled with flowers
forever...

Hello Tony...

This is so adorable...

I was thinking of reading this to my Granddaughter and tell her love is for mice and they're 65 years old and retired...

When you're 65 years old you can find it too...
