THE FIFTH KISS

He almost stole the first kiss
So overcome was he
The second was given freely
So overcome was she
The third was given legally
A marriage blessed for two
Then three
The fourth was givenĀ
To someone else
And run away with herĀ
Did he
The fifth was givenĀ
Mother to child
The truest kiss
That does precide
Over all.

Thankyou my friend, most of it comes from life experience, my own or those around me and sadly, most of us are left holding the baby and little else...lol...or maybe I'm just the eternal pessimist ???
