~ The Finely Etched Moments Of Morning ~
In these, the finely etched moments of morning
Perceived, as though, through finely crafted,
Rose-tinted, sparkling, magnifying glass.
I am taken aback by the vividness of my mind,
It seems otherworldly, as though morning itself
Had broken into a kaleidoscope
Of mother nature's most colorful insights
Leaving me gawking through a crack in its facade
An apparition in the machine
Of a heretofore undiscovered land
Where I had to consider my sanity
For surely this was the great beyond
(a gift made manifest through conjuring)
I forced myself to smile
At the extraordinary nature of it all
Then quickly found myself
Crying tears, imbued with self-reflection
And tears, washing clean my view
Of the secrets found in nature's beauty.....
For it is in these,
The finely etched moments of morning
Where I am most fulfilled,
Alone in my thoughts,
Where I become a man deep in awe,
Of the beauty in being alive
And the joy found
In mother nature's,
Magnificent,
Creations.....
