Poem -

The first time ever I saw your face

The first time ever I saw your face

The first time ever I saw your face,
The world stood still in soft embrace.

The sky grew wide, the stars burned bright,

As if they'd known love’s birth that night.

Ā

Your eyes, like oceans deep and true,

Reflected dreams I never knew.

A single glance, a fleeting touch,

Yet in that moment—felt so much.

Ā

The air was hushed, the earth stood near,

As if to listen, just to hear—

The silent words our souls would weave,

A love so pure, so hard to leave.

Ā

The first time ever I held your hand,

The universe could understand—

That time itself had lost its place,

The first time ever I saw your face.

Ā
