Poem -

The Fool

Am I a fool that is
blinded by your love
A love that is so fakeĀ
burdens my heart
Leaving a scar that reminds
me of my pain and sufferingĀ
And the only thing that can
heal me is time it’s self

Who am I but a fool
to fall for your words
Which is like poison that
burdens my soul
You make promise that areĀ
promise meant to be broken
Caught in you web of lies
that plays with my emotionsĀ

You are like the devil in disguiseĀ
trying to bring destructionĀ
And corrupt the ones that would
bend at your will at hand
I must be the the one who was
blinded by the truth
To see the true colors that
shine out of you
