THE FRAILTIES IN ME

THE FRAILTIES IN ME

WHEN I TOLD YOU THAT I LOVE YOU,
I MENT IT FROM MY HEART,
BUT THAT WAS FOR THE MOMENT
UNTIL THE MOMENT DEPART.

WHEN I PROMISED TO MARRY YOU,
MY INTENTIONS WERE GOOD,
BUT INTENTIONS ARE LIKE INVENTIONS,
SOME ARE MADE OF STEEL,
AND SOME MADE OF WOOD.

BEAUTY ARE EVER EVOLVING,
AND MY EYES ARE NEVER SATISFIED,
FOR I LOST INTEREST IN YOU
THE DAY YOU MADE ME CRY.

I AM A MAN, BORN TO BE FREE,
TO LOVE AS MY HEART DESIRES,
SO FORGIVE ME OF THOSE BROKEN PROMISES
SOMEONE ELSE, HAS SET MY SOUL ON FIRE.
