THE FROG WISHED HE WAS A DOG

This little tale is about a slimy old frog
Wishing in his heart he was born a dog
It isn't a lie and certainly not a joke
He longed for a woof instead of a croak

This slimy old frog detested his lilly pad
Drove him crazy and even a little mad
Much better to fetch a stick all day
A man's best friend is what they say

Jumping to this old frog was a tiresome bore
Going for a walk would be better for sure
What upset him the most on a large scale
This slimy old frog naturally had no tail
