The Gentle Butterfly
I was strolling through the park one day, in the summerâs golden glow;
The birds and bees were all singing, as I glided with their flow!
All at once on a lovely flower, I saw a gentle butterfly;
Itâs wings were multi-colored, I threw a kiss as I crept by!

After only just a few steps, I felt a soft touch upon my arm;
I looked down and there it had landed, knowing I never would it harm!
We locked eyes for a precious moment, as it sent me all its love;
Then it fluttered and quickly flew away, to a tree so far above!
.
I felt a tear fall on my cheek bone, from this blessed epiphany;
For God had sent one of His creations, to bestow their love on me!
I shall remember it forever, the day I felt an insectâs soul;
The day The Gentle Butterfly kissed me, and âI love youâ it me told!

The sweet butterfly
Lands upon my lonely soul
Again, it flutters

My first epiphany when I came to Cosmo, was engendered by a remarkable response to my original posting, which I had submitted with trembling hands. Â The very first comment I received, alleviated all my angst, for it's elegant praise brought happiness to my heart. Â Of course, those awe inspiring words were sent to me by none other than you my dear friend. Â Since that day, you have taken me to places that I never knew before.
