Poem -

The ghost

The ghost

When tears fall off your cheeks

As you taste the salt of the earth

On your own lips

When you suffer in silence

Looking into the shadow

Of your former self

When you walk along the street

As it is so quiet in the dark

There goes your self

When the pit of your stomach

Is in the sea

There you are

When you walk along these sands

Along the beaches of time

Into the sea of death

There you are

The ghost

Hello Tracey;

we are very brief visitors upon this

earth and often trauma has gripped us,

Ghost as we are; once the ego has lifted

the spirit remains.

Your words are precious.

Thank you Jai:)?
